The National Institute for Occupational Safety and 健康 (NIOSH), a division of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, has awarded 菲律宾十大彩票平台大学 (Montana Tech) a Training Project Grant (TPG) with the primary emphasis on student scholarships.

The 1970 Occupational Safety and 健康 Act established NIOSH as a research agency focused on studying worker safety and health, and empowering employers and workers to create safe and healthy workplaces. Montana Tech's SHIH programs are directly related to the NIOSH mission by providing quality graduates to help fill the United States' public health gap. The NIOSH supported TPGs offer a key role in meeting this mandate and contributing to the Institute's core mission of providing national and world leadership to prevent workplace illnesses and injuries.

Scholarships offered through the NIOSH TPG are available to Safety, 健康, and Industrial Hygiene (SHIH) students enrolled in our Bachelor of Science 学位 in Occupational Safety and 健康, Master of Science 学位 in Industrial Hygiene, or Master of Science 学位 in Industrial Hygiene 远程学习 / Professional Track programs. Approximately 32 students are supported per academic year.

To be eligible for a Montana Tech NIOSH TPG scholarship, a student must be a citizen or a noncitizen national of the U.S. or be lawfully admitted for permanent residence at the time of appointment; be currently enrolled in a SHIH 学位 program, 平均绩点不低于3分.0. Merit, financial need, and diversity are all considered when awarding scholarships. Scholarship applications are available in June of each academic year. 请联系博士. 朱莉·哈特 JHart@conch-garment.com 了解更多信息.
